"My New Promethean Board...I forgot what a chalkboard is like. Learning Live."
I am a certified K-8 teach since 1993, and learn more every single day with my fifth grade math and STEM class. I hold a Master of Educational Technology from Boise State University and I am a Certified Google for Education Trainer. I work part-time for Boise State University, helping develop STEM curriculum and websites for their NSF funded after-school program STEM initiative. My quote for each day is "Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you'll land among the stars." Les Brown. I believe in each and every child in my class, and my goal is for them to work hard and believe in themselves!
Not sure I understand? This was created for my class work years ago for my Master degree. I’ll check blog date when first published. But this was not from your link. If that is what you mean. 2015 or 16. Republished. And for this wonderful subject.
Thank you John. In my opinion, you can not learn without doing. Merely discussing and watching social learning and Internet safety is not enough. Students need to be guided through actual use of such programs. You can't ride a bike by watching, you need training wheels first. I consider this unit, the training wheels of digital citizenship.
Thank you very much for your input and guidance. I will give all projects a good look over and add anything tested and adjust the lesson. Your input is very valuable during this process, since it was my first time contributing materials.
