I am first and foremost a designer. Licensed to practice Landscape Architecture, I work for 20+ years designing parks, public spaces, and zoo exhibits. Needing change, I followed my heart and added Design Educator to my resume and taught design at the Cooper-Hewitt Museum and The Center For Architecture. I worked my way into the classroom as a science teacher. Teaching science allows me to bring my passion for problem-solving into an interdisciplinary, STEM integrated teaching practice.
