I am passionate about equitable education policies, trauma-informed schools, and restorative justice. I strongly believe in the transformative power of teacher collaboration to solve education's most pressing problems.
What a great idea! I wonder if it could be helpful for students to pause for meta-cognition breaks during the work phase of a large project so that moments throughout their journey are captured. Depending on a student's age or choice this could be through journaling, tweeting, or even illustrating the prompts (right now my roadblock is... right now I am trying...).
What a great idea! Schools could also take into account student choice and learning styles by encouraging students to perform a variety of leadership roles (Master of Ceremonies, audio/visual tech, event planning, etc), as well as presenting their individual talk.
