"Whiltelines or Rhoida notebooks & lots of varied markers, pens, pencils"
Most describe me as the idealist with a knack for integrating tech with curriculum, instruction and assessment. I started my teaching career in public, rural elementary classrooms. During my first year teaching third grade, I piloted a 1:1 iPod Touch program, sending devices home for students to document experiences outside of school. I understand high-quality learning as a reflective, social process where the dreamers & realists build mutual respect for one another. My style is more inquiry-based, with less talking and more guidance. I'm an explorer, designer, dog lover, & live for learning.
This is exciting! Thanks Gina and team for getting this started! I'm going to try and run a similar after school club for 2nd-4th grade boys. We are following Gina's lead (and who gave me the original idea) to start with the stuffed toys and then have the boys trick out their baseball caps with Lillypad Trinket. Stay tuned for more details!
