I am glad to hear that you enjoyed this piece! For several of my students, it was quite a challenge for them to think of what it would have been like without me as a resource. This is the 6th year that there has been a college adviser in the high school here, so for these kids, it is almost taken for granted the resource that they have. Having them think about what it would have been like without an adviser helped them to realize just how much they utilize my assistance and in what ways I have been able to help them. Overall, I think it was a very valuable exercise for both myself and the students.
