I am a teacher of all trades, as most teachers are, and enjoy interweaving subjects into each other. Getting students excited about learning, reading, researching, using technology is what I love to do. I am always trying to learn more about how to engage and motivate our students to find their own learning interests.

Students wonder about many things about the world. This project gave them the chance to figure out some of those answers.
Watching my students interact in our everyday classroom with different adults was eye opening.
This is a great idea! I bet the students were more critical of their work knowing that they set the expectations.
Love this! It is something I have done with my classes also, there is always so much great insight that comes out of it. The hard part for me has been getting the students to dive deep into each others' writing and give useful feedback. So I appreciate how you explain that part should be a separate lesson and practice.
