I always loved school, but back early on in my career, I was talking to one of my mentor principal friends about challenges engaging parents. She saw a lot of parents come intense or angry all because they had bad school experiences. Creating a space that is friendly and not a typical "school space" is a great idea.
Adding students to the space is interesting but I wonder how you would handle child protection? Also, how would you manage parents who are "enthusiastic" in their willingness to speak with teachers? A great idea though!!!!
