After listening to student interviews and reading personal stories a common theme I heard was the need for families and communities to be informed, involved and just as committed to the college journey. Pop ups seem like an affordable way to create safe spaces to meet parents where they are at. They can ask questions, get informed, and stay connected to their student's journey.

I love this! I think it can be really valuable. You can break up groups by language needs, so parents who aren't proficient in English can participate. You can serve various levels of students and their parents. Perhaps even parents of elementary or middle schoolers who are concerned about what path in the education system to take (public, charter, private, etc.), how to start saving, what organizations are out there, etc.
