High schools courses of any discipline can be combined with a service or activist opportunity to help students see connections between their coursework and the wider world. Service-learning provides space to think about such applications in terms of a passion and vocation, rather than simply careers, majors, and grades.

This is very interesting and I'm loving the passion theme in your posts! Trever Reeh is also thinking about Service Learning, maybe you guys could team up and see how you could push your ideas further together.

Here's Trever's post, if you want to check it out --> https://collaborate.teachersguild.org/challenge/reach-higher-better-make-room-teachers-guild-college-journey-collaboration/ideate/year-of-service
