Students would not only learn to respect their play spaces and play materials, but be able to incorporate their ideas, dreams, and choice over the types of games and spaces they use for recess and after school.

Share insights you heard during your empathy work. Which empathy activities did you engage with? How did these activities impact your idea?

I engaged with the 'Personal Inventory' empathy activities and found that all the students that I interviewed had a strong desire to be unique individuals who were empowered to make decisions for themselves.
