What if we assumed that students had things to teach parents and teachers and created spaces for them to flip the script and become the teachers. This could be academic concepts or this could also include designing school culture and experiences. We are  add an element of students informing the work that needs to be done in classroom spaces in partnership with parents.

Share research or student experiences that informed your idea!

The Austin Area group 'Educators in Solidarity' informed this idea for us with their 'Cultural Proficiency Unconference'. We are hoping to partner and add an element of students informing the work that needs to be done in classroom spaces in partnership with parents. https://www.eventbrite.com/e/atx-spring-cultural-proficiency-unconference-edcamp-tickets-55119137825#
