This box will include all craft supplies and LittleBits pieces needed to create an airplane. Each box will contain different LittleBits pieces to make a part of the plane. A student would be able to make a propeller out of a power piece, toggle switch pieces, and dc motor piece. This is just one of many things a student can create. In the box will be step by step instructions on how to put LittleBit pieces together but the building of the airplane will be left in the student's hands.

How does this idea help to spark student curiosity?

As technology keeps expanding, so does the use of it in the younger society. Combining new technology with student's learning will allow students to become more involved in their work. LittleBits are an easy, yet wide open type of technology. They allow creativity and offer new ways of thinking.

What grade level is this idea most appropriate for?

  • Middle School (5-8)
