How does this idea help to spark student curiosity?

Studies show that movement and exercise improves brain function. Getting students out of the classroom brings variety to the school day and the subject matter. The podcast walk encourages students to listen to high-quality content matter while walking outdoors--alone, with partners, or in small groups. The activity requires trust, emphasizes a student's autonomy and responsibility for learning, and it suggests that learning happens outside of the classroom.

What grade level is this idea most appropriate for?

  • High School (9-12)

Taking moments for a break to regroup would be a great way to test engagement. It seems like an outdoor gallery!
