The Magic Box has the ability to flip, turn and can do various actions. After our first prototype we wanted to make it usable for students and teachers. So what we want to do is make it available to all the whiteboard users out there. So now with our 2.0 prototype, we are going to place dry erase tape on the cube so that you can write facts, questionnaires and/or images. However you would like to teach your students, this would be the way to go!

How does this idea help to spark student curiosity?

What we found in our research is that students had a harder time in science and math. We believe that this object/machine will inspire students to learn more of the subject!

What grade level is this idea most appropriate for?

  • Middle School (5-8)

Thanks for sharing your idea Sabrina! We'd love to hear more and follow up as your evolve your prototype. What kinds of questions, prompts, or subjects will you add? And how do they spark different kinds of curiosity and learning in your students. Keep us posted!
