With our changing classrooms and evolving needs of our students, it seems like there might be lessons to be learned how the business world keeps up with technology and the consumer demand. Village Capital is an interesting incubator model where entrepreneurs focused on impact first strengthen their business acumen while building out their idea. At the close of their cohort, they use a peer selection model to identify the business that will receiving seed funding to get started.  It's learning and doing at the same time, with a financial incentive.

Good luck funding education startups. Schools need a new business model. The current one (even for independent schools) does not have significant leverage and there is not funds available for R&D (e.g., innovation and pedagogical improvements).
