Differentiation for Adult Learners?!

Differentiation is powerful for both kids AND adults

Differentiation is all about tailoring instruction to each of the learners in the room. As educators, we know it is best practice for kids.. but what about for adult learners? What would a differentiated professional development experience look like for educators? How would we determine who to differentiate it for and how would it actually pan out over the course of the session? My wheels are turning and I look forward to exploring this idea further....

The image you chose is also turning my wheels-- it works as a PD metaphor for me on multiple levels. There's the fact that we too often "put all of our eggs in one basket" as well as the idea that when we let go of status quo approaches, it often feels both messy & destructive: "in order to make an omelete...."
