We've seen that students have adapted to being passive consumers rather than active creators. The Purple Box is a maker space where students complete daily interactive design challenges with creative supplies, wacky materials, whiteboards, beanbag chairs, 3D printers, laser cutters, and other technologies.

I love this idea, your pictures remind me of an app called  Roomle (ipad app) in allowing kids to redesign space or share ideas for space. Is this space modular--things can be moved around? I'm investigating ways to create a maker cart rather than a maker rom.
