What happens behind the scenes that make experiences seem smooth or go seamlessly? Routines, computer programs, guidelines for situations, systems. Even in a makers spaces there are guidelines for put away and getting ready to make. Having someone who is in charge of systems and system failures helps the makers to keep making. This is a Good argument for co teaching model or an assistant in every classroom. There are also makers who can transform chaos into calm. They make it possible.

Ashley, I absolutely love this analogy. It takes truly amazing people working behind the scenes to make so many of our interactions seem easy, simple, and flawless.

If you had a "Wing Man" in your classroom what do you think their most important contribution would be?
