This starts where students have a specific time to celebrate a member of their table team through a nomination process that is done through writing that is first modeled by teacher .
Each week students with multiple nominations are made public by teacher and statements in writing about these students are shared with entire class . This creates safety and a culture of inclusion students generally recognize students each other in powerful ways
The second stage of this process is to move to a more in personal and public shoutout. Shoutout are no longer written but done on the spot and now students are the one shouting out each other .
