This sliding book shelf can either be double or single layers which can be used to store classroom materials and books. It can also serve as board space to document student work. Shelves need to be adjustable and demountable.

Most classroom furniture is fixed which limits users of the space to customize the range of flexibility necessary to adapt to learning experiences. As devices become part of the daily routine of classrooms, there will be a corresponding need to recycle existing furniture to accommodate new demands.
