Teams of diverse middle school students will be given a rhyming clue leading to a place within the school. When they figure out the solution and go to that place they have to complete a task that explores/promotes/endorses  empathy among each other, other students, and other school personnel. Once they complete the task, they are given the next clue that leads to the next task. Each task is designed to give students experiences that help them empathize with other students of unique backgrounds as well as adults.

A more detailed description of the tasks is located on this collaborative document. Any feedback and comments are welcomed!

Dear Ms. Jones,
The scavenger hunt sounds like a great idea for the students to get to know the staff members that help make their school run smootly. Do you have example questions your students used once they found the person they interviewed? Thank you. I can be reached at kcastellanos@stalbansschool.org
